It started off as a kind of a dustbin blog, which I called poubelle, as I’ve been living in France since 2002. I’m trying to be a little more upbeat about it now, so it’s been renamed. Not a lot happens. I live with another woman. We’re both retired. She gardens. I don’t. I blog a bit, though.

I stopped blogging, even a bit. Most of the content here was migrated from squarespace (which I loved, but had to pay for) to here as I’d lost  interest but didn’t want to quite lose my blog. (Though I imagine many of the links are a bit suspect now)

Now I’ve decided to maintain it just as a photo/diary and will start by updating (and backdating) from Dec 06
